Application of Alumina
There are two types of alumina ceramics: high purity alumina and ordinary alumina. High purity alumina ceramics are ceramic materials with alumina content of more than 99.9%. Its sintering temperature is as high as 1650-1990 ℃, and transmission wavelength varies from 1 ~ 6μm, so it is generally made into molten glass to replace platinum crucible. It can be used as sodium lamp tube for its light transmittance and alkali metal corrosion resistance feature. In the electronic industry, it can be used as integrated circuit plate and high frequency insulation materials. For ordinary alumina, there are 99 ceramics, 95 ceramics, 90 ceramics and 85 ceramics based on the content of alumina. Sometimes products with 80 or even 70% of alumina content are also called alumina ceramics. 99 alumina ceramics is used for high temperature crucible, refractory furnace tube and special wear-resisting materials like ceramic bearing, ceramic sealing parts and water valve plates. 95 alumina ceramics are mainly used as corrosion-resisting and wear-resisting parts. 85 alumina ceramics boost electric conductivity and mechanical strength by adding a certain amount of talcum.
Our company is able to produce various refractory products depending on your request, from cordierite mullite alumina crucible, sagger, plate to corundum mullite sagger crucible and plates, etc. We locate our plant in Zibo where there is a rich amount of high-quality kaolin, bauxite, among other raw materials.
