Fused quartz product is a new type of high-tech ceramics, reducing the pollution to molten glass and improving its purity. With good thermal shock resistance, it can be replaced directly without preheating, thus improving its productivity. Quartz ceramics are made of silica powder by grinding and slip casting. Its composition is the same as molten glass, so even in the event of erosion, it will not lead to secondary contamination to the product. With refined texture, it will be melted into glass phase, so that it won’t result in granular contamination.
RAW MATERIALS
We use refined 99.5% quartz sand as the raw materials (SiO2≥90-99.5,Fe2O3≤0.02-0.015%) from selected quality ores. Through multiple processing steps, sometimes with repeated steps to ensure high purity, our fused quartz products feature sophisticated size, low thermal conductivity, low coefficient thermal expansion, high compression resistance, good thermal shock resistance, good electric performance and high resistance to chemical attack.
PROCESSING
The formulated quartz ceramic slurry is poured into a high performance plaster mold which will then absorb enough water for the slurry to solidify and form a preliminary pottery body of the quartz product, which will then be dried, sintered, and formed quartz ceramic products. The product boosts high density, good wear resistance and low porosity rate.
APPLICATION
Because of their good performance, Quartz ceramic and refractory products, including quartz sagger, quartz crucibles, quartz bowls, quartz sleeves and stirring paddlecan, among others, can be applied to glass deep processing industry, metallurgy industry, electronics industry, chemical industry, aeronautics industry, etc.
