325mesh-32mesh Flake Graphite Powder
Natural flake graphite is a mineral that is formed through long-term geological metamorphism of carbonaceous rocks. It is a kind of natural crystalline graphite with a fish scale-like appearance and presents a layered structure.
Properties: complete crystallization of scales, thin and good toughness, excellent physic-chemical properties, good high-temperature resistance, self-lubrication, electrical conductivity, heat resistance, corrosion resistance.
Uses: Widely used in the gold industry for advanced refractory materials and coatings. Such as magnesium-carbon bricks, crucibles, and so on. Smelting industry desulfurisation accelerator, pencil core, carbon brush, battery industry, fertilizer industry catalyst, etc. After in-depth processing, flake graphite can produce graphite emulsion, used for lubricants, mold-releasing agents, wire drawing agents, conductive coatings, and so on. It can be used for producing expanded graphite, as raw materials for flexible graphite products, such as flexible graphite seals and flexible graphite composite material products.
According to the fixed carbon content by mass ,natural flake graphite can be divided into four categories:
- High Purity Graphite: Carbon Content:≥99.9%
- High Carbon Graphite: Carbon Content: 94~99%
- Medium Carbon Graphite: 80~93%
- Low Carbon Graphite: 50~75%
